Post-Doctoral and Doctoral Training

Opportunities for Training

The Institute of Human Virology (IHV) has a large faculty engaged in advanced biomedical research. Their expertise includes viral pathogenesis, animal models, clinical studies with human subjects, epidemiology, molecular genetics, and immunology. Approximately 30 mentors for advanced research are available, all with publications in virology, extramural support and facilities for state-of-the-art laboratory research.

The IHV faculty collaborate extensively amongst themselves. Additionally, they maintain national and international connections with leading laboratories in their areas of research. The Annual International Meeting and the seminar series sponsored by the IHV reflect the strong global nature of its impact, interests, and collaborations.
