Who is Working on the Vaccine?
The Institute of Human Virology Vaccine Trials Unit (IVTU) was established to develop an HIV vaccine through partnerships with communities, scientists, professional staff, and everyone affected by HIV.
The Mission of IVTU is to:
Provide prevention education and outreach
Build partnerships between the scientific and local communities
Conduct HIV vaccine trials with uninfected individuals
Provide referrals to individuals infected and affected by HIV
