At the Institute of Human Virology, you'll find the integral partners of the IHV team - our researchers and physicians. From the moment our doors opened in 1996, we recruited scientists from a cross section of disciplines - basic research, veterinary medicine, clinical research and patient care, vaccine development and epidemiology - to study and treat diseases caused by viruses. This core of dedicated faculty work each day in an atmosphere that fosters the free exchange of ideas. Here we've created a flexible and innovative research center where discoveries are quickly moved from laboratory to clinic.
